My wife and I stayed in Casita 23 at the Boardwalk for our honeymoon from Sept. 22 to Oct. 2, 2009. Our casita was clean and well maintained and had almost everything we needed in it. Martin was incredibly nice and helpful in every way, shape and form. He helped us with any reservations, cabs, and general advice.
The Boardwalk was perfect for a relaxing honeymoon after the craziness of a wedding. We enjoyed With an almost two week stay, the resort really does become just like home, many of our favorite moments of the honeymoon were returning from a tour in the afternoon or dinner at night and sitting by the pool or the deck with the other guests.
I would highly recommend that Boardwalk Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing private getaway.

We have stayed at The Boardwalk several times, most recently in October 2009. We never feel to be impressed by the owners and staff at The Boardwalk and their friendly, outgoing manners. They are like family!!
The accommodations are roomy and easily accessible and the kitchens fully equipped. We especially like the terraces (mostly shaded) where you can relax and read a book or just sit in the quite surroundings.
We highly recommend The Boardwalk to anyone. Again, the owners and staff make The Boardwalk what it is today.

A group of 7 of us stayed in 3 casitas from October 28-November 6 2009. Our experience couldn't have been better! The staff--from the front desk, to the maids, to the service staff--are the best. Guests are truly made to feel welcome and special. The accommodations are lovely and clean and the landscaping is first rate. Although we ate many meals out, the kitchen provided us with the option to eat in when we wanted. The cats are an added bonus as all of us were missing our pets. The location is just right--a 5-minute (slow) walk to the beach. The Boardwalk Vacation Retreat is a gem as well as a good value. Our group agreed that staying at the Boardwalk was far more desirable than staying at one of the high-rise hotels. We'll be back!

Thanks for 23 days in paradise! This was our second visit to Boardwalk and we will be back next year. This is simply the best place to stay on the island; located at Palm Beach you can walk to the beach, restaurants and casino's without having to stay at one of the inpersonal highrise hotels. Lovely casita's, peace and quiet and of course the cute cats make you feel at home immediately. Thanks to Martijn and all others at the Boardwalk for your helpfulness and friendlyness! See you all next October...
