As a recent traveller throughout the Dutch Antilles islands, and a guest at the Boardwalk Vacation Retreat in Aruba, I found their accomodations to be clean, comfortable and welcoming. As a traveller on a bit of a budget, and after seeing the high cost of travel and accomodation typical in Aruba, my intent was to spend very little time on the island. However the Boardwalk Vacation Retreat wound up being a wonderful, welcome surprise. Not only were the rooms very clean, comfortable and affordable, but the staff at the hotel went above and beyond to make my stay in Aruba enjoyable. They took the time to treat me like a valued guest in their home as opposed to just another tourist.
In addition to an excellent staff and facility, the location itself is absolutely perfect. They are literally only a moments walk from the nicest beach in all of Aruba, bus stops, and fisherman selling freshly caught fish that can be brought back to your room and barbecqued.
The rooms themselves provide a huge convenience by having eat in kitchens. Not only would travellers on a budget benefit from having a kitchen, but people travelling with children or even those simply looking for a reprieve from the constant day to day cost and hassle of eating out.
Basically what I'm saying is that I would absolutely recommend the Boardwalk hotel to anyone on any budget, travelling to Aruba.

This is a long overdue review.We stayed at the Boardwalk in August and what an amazing time we had. The Casitas are beautiful. The boardwalk is in a quiet location away from all the high-rise, but yet colse enough to where all the action is. There is a pool on site, and the beach is also just a three to five minute walk away. The staff and manager does a great job, and does everything to make their guest have a wonderful stay. Don't hesitate to stay here, if you are looking for something other than a highrise hotel, you would not be disappointed. It's peaceful, convenient and safe.

Our stay at Boardwalk was great. A lovely quiet, small and cosy place which is special for Aruba. The staff was very friendly and helpful which made our vacation complete.

Stayed for almost a week with wife and daughter. A real surprise. Although close to the highway, it is quiet and a beautiful setting. Service is great and appreciated the free use of snorkeling equipment. Rooms are clean and satisfactorily furnished. Garden and pool areas are beautiful. 5-7 minute walk to Marriott resort beaches and windsurfing. We will stay there again.
