The Boardwalk Vacation Retreat is a wonderfully relaxing and beautiful place to vacation and enjoy the quietness of a Caribbean Get-A-Way! The shady palm trees and vegetation here gives refreshing shade when the mighty sun has been too much. It has a very comfortable feel because it is a much smaller resort and the service is very personable and accommodating. You will love the kitties that live here...and catch a bus, or drive your car up a little ways to close-by beautiful Arashi Beach! We were delighted with the clean and over-sized rooms and look forward to returning next year!

What a great surprise for us! We booked online and talked over email to Martijn to determine room size, costs and proximity to the beaches and then fell in love with the Boardwalk on first sight.
The staff were great! The accommodations, wonderful. We had some special needs on our trip and we were well looked after on all our requests. Being only about 10 minutes from the great beaches was a great bonus and my sister and I took full advantage of the beach access, even going back in the evenings to watch the great sunsets.
If we can manage to get back to Aruba, our retreat will be at the Boardwalk...

What a lovely place. Wonderful hospitality. So clean and homey. For me, this is now 'home' when visiting Aruba. Thanks to everyone who made our stay so relaxed.

We just completed a 3 week stay at The Boardwalk. It was, I believe, our 4th time staying there.
We absolutely would not stay anywhere else in Aruba. Everyone from the owners to the front desk personnel have a service mentality and could not be more helpful. The culture is truly one of a boutique. We have gotten to know the owners over the years feel like we are going to see family when we visit.
We recommend highly, whether your interest is wind surfing or just veging out.

The Boardwalk is a real treat! Very pleasant, helpful staff. We found the people at the Boardwalk to be sincerely motivated to make our (first - but hopefully not last) visit to Aruba the most enjoyable as possible. We would definitely recommend the Boardwalk to anyone who doesn't like the frenetic atmosphere of the high-rise megaplexes. Thanks for everything, Martijn.
