Check-Out Time
Check-out time is 11 am. For later check-outs, arrangements are possible - subject to space availability. Please check with the frontdesk in advance. If a later check-out can not be arranged, you may have your luggage stored in our office until you are ready to leave. On Sunday afternoon when the office is closed you may leave your luggage stored at the security station. Please remember to make arrangements with us beforehand.
 
Concierge Service
We are more than happy to assist you with more information and reservations for activities, car rentals, restaurants etc.

Our office hours are Monday – Saturday from 8:00 am. -7:00 pm. and Sunday from 9:00 am. -1:00 pm. You can reach us by dialing 0 from your phone.

Moomba Beach Club
An exclusive arrangement gives guests of Boardwalk free use of lounge chairs at the Moomba Beach Club, as well as a 10% discount at the bar & restaurant. Moomba Beach Club is located at a mere 5 minute walk along the beach, between the Marriott and the Holiday Inn. Two large palapa style thatched roofs on the beach form a beautiful location, with plenty of trees that offer shade. There's a children's playground, fresh water showers, private parking lot, wifi internet location. They have a great breakfast buffet and lunch & dinner menu. Tables are beautifully set outside in the sand , between the tiki torches, as well as under the palapa roof. A nice bar with a great happy hour, live music, flatscreen sports TV. Saling trips depart from here as well. Altogether a great place. You will receive your pass at the front desk upon checking in.

Mini Market & Souvenirs
We have a mini market at the front office where you can get some groceries right away, without having to venture out to one of the island's grocery stores on your first day. We have a supply of cereals, bread, eggs, cheese, milk, juices, soft drinks, beer, wine, chips, coffee, ice-cream etc.
And when the time is comes to leave our beautiful island, you can get your souvenirs here as well. Check out our small collection of colorful Caribbean souvenirs!
 
Windsurf & Kitesurf Shop
Our windsurf shop at the front office is stocked withproducts from Neil Pryde, JP Australia Cabrinha, Takoon and Jimmy Lewis. We also have many accessories such as gloves, lycra shirts, booties and much more. Lots of gear, and at very competitive prices. A large selection of last year’s rental gear (from the Vela Windsurf Center), -both used and new- is also available.
 
DVD's & Books
A selection of DVD's and books are available at the front-office. DVD’s are free of charge, however we do request you to write down the DVD’s you take on the DVD registration form, so we may keep track - in case we get a special request for a certain DVD.
The books are free of charge as well. If you have chosen a book from our collection and will not be able to finish it before you leave…don't worry; you may take it home with you. You're welcome to leave the book(s) you brought along at our small secondhand library, so they become available for the other guests to read and you can maximize the 'souvenir-space' in your luggage!

Safety Deposit Box
It is safe to leave your belongings in your casita. However, we do have a safe at the front desk where you can easily, and free of charge, leave any precious belongings, if you'd feel more comfortable not leaving them in your casita. Please be aware you can only access your belongings during office hours.
 
Security
At night -from 7 pm to 6 am- (on Sunday from 1 pm to 6 am) there's a security guard on duty. He is stationed right at the property entrance. After office hours, if anything needs immediate attention, you can reach him at ext. 811
 
First Aid
For emergency assistance, in the case of an accident, injury or discomfort, please contact us at the front desk. We have a first aid kit at the front desk and will give immediate assistance or further instructions.
The Dr.H.E. Oduber Hospital, located 2.5 miles from The Boardwalk, has 24-hour emergency room.
For emergencies after office hours, contact our security guard at ext. 811.

Babysitting Services
We have great babysitters that we work with. Please check with us at the front desk to make arrangements, it’s best to do this at least 24 hours in advance. They charge a fixed rate of $10.00 per hour. You can also visit their website or contact them at the addresses below:
 
Children's Stuff
For our younger guests we have lots of stuff that will make their (and your) vacation fun and easy. If you’re visiting with kids, your casita will have been supplied with a selection of age appropriate toys and games, a soft play-mat, age appropriate bedding (baby crib, toddler bed or safety rail), a highchair, playpen and stroller. More toys and games are available at the front-desk. This is a free of charge service, we just ask you to sign out any games & toys you pick up at the front desk. We have a large selection of play toys, sand toys, swim toys, puzzles, dolls, cars - you name it). We also have available: car seats, strollers and an easy to install children’s gate for the front door of your casita. When making your reservation, please provide us with the age(s) of your child(ren) so that can place the things according to their age.

Swimming Pool & Jacuzzi
Our swimming pool & Jacuzzi are open 24 hours day, 7 days a week. We do not do a nightly chemical shock treatment. The water is treated three times a week with time-release chemicals; treating the water on a continuous basis. You may therefore swim at any time of the day, or night.

The shallow part of the pool is great for kids, but under no circumstances can small children be left alone in this part of the pool, or in any part of the pool for that matter. Using the Jacuzzi and pool is always at your own risk.

The Jacuzzi runs on a timer set for operation from 4 pm.- 11.30 pm every evening.
We have some pool toys and floats at the front desk, which you may pick up at any time.
 
Morning Newspaper
Every day, except Sunday, we make sure you get your free copy of the “Aruba Today” English newspaper at the frontdesk.

Beach Chairs, Umbrella and Coolbox
Free beach lounge chairs are available for guests of Boardwalk at the Moomba Beach Club. The Moomba Beach Club is located between the Marriott and the Holiday Inn, at a mere 5 minute walk along the beach from Boardwalk. We have also supplied your casita with lightweight folding beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a cool box, in case you'd like to venture out to the other beaches on the island. If you need extra chairs, or if you would prefer folding lounge chairs, just ask – we have more at the front desk. We hope you’ll enjoy Aruba's beautiful beaches. Snorkeling Gear
We have snorkeling gear available at the front desk for guests of The Boardwalk. Adult- as well as children’s sizes available. Please check with us at the front desk if you’re interested.
We thought it would be nice to provide this equipment, since it is very hard to rent snorkeling equipment on the island. This almost forces you to book a tour that includes snorkeling, which is okay but it’s much nicer doing it on your own agenda. We hope you’ll enjoy Aruba’s beautiful snorkeling spots. Mail Service
Outgoing mail can be dropped off at the front desk. Postcards and stamps can be purchased at the front desk as well. If you need to receive mail when staying with us, please contact us at the front desk for complete address and any other details.

Money Matters
We accept Visa, Master Card, Euro Card and Discover. Traveler’s checks and ATM cards with a Cirrus or Maestro logo are also accepted. Sorry; Diner’s Club and personal checks are not accepted. Payment by swift transfer is also possible; in this case please contact our front desk for our account details.

We would be happy to change your traveler checks or large bills, providing we have enough cash at the front desk.

Spa Service
We do not have a spa at The Boardwalk, but we do work with a licensed massage therapist offering full body cranial sacral massages and reflexology massage. Her name is Tara and she is the yoga instructor and massage therapist at the Tierra del Sol Golf and Country Club. She comes in upon request. Please reserve with a bit of notice at the frontdesk. Couples massages are also possible; she would enlist the help of another licensed massage therapist.

Games & Toys Library
At the front office there’s a corner with a selection of games. Board games, card games, children’s games you name it. These are all free of charge, however we do request you to register what you take, so we may keep track of where these are.
